The Ballan Autumn Festival Association Inc.
The Ballan Autumn Festival is an annual celebration of our local culture, creativity and community, and is one of the oldest regional country fairs in the Moorabool Shire. The Ballan Autumn festival is organised by dedicated volunteers and engages the whole community in activities such as a street parade, community stalls, arts and cultural activities and much more.
BOOM! WHACK! POW! BAF IS BACK!
After a very successful ‘Spring back’ into Ballan Autumn Festival we are excited to announce that BAF will be back! And in Autumn! Before covid cancelled the 2020 festival the BAF team and the Ballan community were getting ready for the theme SUPERHEROES! And it is with much excitement we are bringing it back!
So spend Summer researching your most favourite superheroes. Are they from a Marvel film? Do they fight fires? Could it be your next door neighbour? or a family member? Do you have more than one? What we can tell you is that there are lots of superheroes within our community and we can’t wait to showcase them to you at BAF!
Get your costume or cosplay on and we’ll be ready to save the day superhero style with you on Sunday March 19th 2023!
We’ll be bringing you the traditional Grand Street Parade, Market Stalls, plenty of entertainment, food, the annual pet show and much much more! Be sure to watch this space and our socials to find out just exactly what else we’ll have to enjoy soon!

Covid Safe
Making the Ballan Autumn Festival a COVID SAFE event has been a challenge since 2020. As apart of our ‘Bloom Back’ we are re-imagining and designing the festival so as to make sure we can avoid any future pandemic postponements to the festival in years to come!
Community
BAF is a celebration of our unique culture, creativity and community. Showcasing the township of Ballan and surrounding communities as part of living in rural Victoria, to actively encourage people to engage with our town and district.
Connection
BAF works closely with other local associations, community groups and traders.
We also bring a sense of culture, entertainment, and community to Ballan by hosting the annual Ballan Autumn Festival.
